Kelly Jo Carlson, 47 years of age of Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Survived by her husband of 8 years, Michael A. Caravana; daughters, Heather B. Souza of Nesquehoning, and Susan Caravana of Killingly, CT.; son, Dustin Carlson of Boston , MA; grandchildren, Jayce, and MaKenzie.
Born Monday, August 19, 1968 in Groton, Connecticut. the daughter of Carol Ann (Fletcher) Kornmiller of Newport RI.
She was predeceased by her sister, Lori Strangeman.
A graduate of East Providence High School in Providence, Rhode Island, Kelly Jo earned her degree in Phlebotomy while on the Dean's List from Rhode Island Community College, and had worked for Quest Diagnostic.
