Kathryn L. "Kitty" Kuntz

Kathryn L. "Kitty" (Leininger) Kuntz, age 90, formerly of Lansford, died Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Broad Meadow Health Services in Middletown, Del.

Kathryn was the widow of George Kuntz, Jr., who died on January 17, 1998.

A homemaker, Kathryn was a member of St. John Slovak Lutheran Church of Lansford.

A 1942 Tamaqua High School graduate, Kathryn belonged to the Eastern Star and Lansford Legion Aux.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Elizabeth (Mantz) Leininger.

She is survived by her

One Daughter,
Carolyn J. (Kuntz) Gallagher wife of Charlie of Lansford;

One Son,
Richard T. Kuntz and his wife Karen of Middletown, Del.;

Four grandchildren, Jenny Gibeault, and Katie Sword, Tracey and Danny Gallagher;

Five great-grandchildren, Jordan Taylor and Nathan Jeffory Gibeault; Bailey, Lilly, and Autumn Sword.

Preceded in death by brothers, Rev. Milton Leininger and Noah Leininger; sisters, Mrs. Dawn Feathers and Mrs. Virginia Fenick.
