Kathryn Mary Bailey

Mrs. Kathryn Mary (Benderavage) Bailey, age 89, of Summer Valley Road New Ringgold, Pa., died Friday, April 18, 2008, at The Summit Blue Mountain Health System in Lehighton, Pa., were she had been a quest since 2006.

Kathryn was Catholic by faith. She retired from the former Atlas Powder Co, in 1981, after 31 years.

Born in Coaldale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Stepfanovich) Benderavage.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Raymond Bailey of New Ringgold, Pa.;

Two Sons,
Mr. Albert Michael Lakitsky and his wife Janet of Andreas, Pa.
Mr. Joseph Anthony Lakitsky and his wife Jacqueline of New Ringgold, Pa.

One Sister,
Mrs. Beatrice Haas of Coaldale, Pa.

Three grandchildren
Four great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by her brothers, John Benderawicz, Joseph B. Benderick, and Charles Benderick; sister, Mrs. Mary Zehner; granddaughter Michelle Ann Lakitsky, R.N. in 2005.

Private Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa..

Private Funeral service will be at the convenience of the immediate family Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. .

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
