Mr. Karl C Miller, age 82, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Karl was a WWII Army Veteran and was previously employed by Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua, Pa., S. Ward Fire Co., American Legion and a social member of American Hose Fire Co.
Karl was a 1942 graduate of Tamaqua High School
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late George M. Miller and the late Ruth J. (Mertz) Miller.
He is survived by his
wife of 46 years, Katherine (Scheidly) Miller of Tamaqua
sister-in-law, Charlotte Scheidly of Tamaqua
three nieces.
Preceded in death by brothers, Zedrick, Douglas and Newton.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. where the family will receive friends on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Reverend Debra Ernst officiating.
Interment with military honors at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
