Karen L. Connolly, 62, died April 12, 2010 after a short illness.
Mrs. Connolly was born in New York on January 27, 1948 to Milan Brozek and Margaret Surotchak, and lived there for 39 years.
She graduated from New Hide Park High School. After meeting her husband, Dennis, in New York, she moved to Napa in 1987. Karen worked at Piners as a caregiver in the assisted living center. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and taking care of her garden. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was known for telling it like it is and being a very giving person. Karen was a devoted friend of Mary, Paula, Linda and Roseanne.
Mrs. Connolly is survived by her husband, Dennis Connolly of Napa; daughters, Kelli (Jonathan) Larose of San Diego, and Kerri Connolly of Napa and her boyfriend Clay Hutton; sister, Janet (Salvator) Castelli of Long Island; nieces, Kimberly, Kourtney and Brittany; grandson, Jacob and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside Service on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at St. John Slovak Lutheran Church Cemetery, Summit Hill, Pa., Reverend Marjorie Keiter officiating.
