Joyce A. Connell, 66 of Lake Drive, Lake Hauto, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at home while in the care of her family.
Joyce last worked in the Archives Department for Carbon County. She was a free spirit who enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, horse's, and volunteering at the Environmental Center at Mauch Chunk Lake.
Born Saturday, April 21, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William, and Estella Mae (Davis) Flick. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mrs. Geraldine Davis; brothers, William, and Edward Flick
Surviving are sons, Richard J. Connell and his wife Michele of Willow Grove, Craig Connell of Walnutport, and Jesse J. Connell of Tamaqua; daughters, Sharon Ann Connell of North Carolina, and Misty A. Connell of Altoona, PA,; sister, Nancy Harris of Philadelphia; 12 grand children; 4 great grand children.
