Josephine T. Snell, 85 years of age formerly of Weatherly, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at St. Joseph's Place in Port Jervis, New York.
Widow of Walter E. Snell who died on November 2, 2009, she is survived by brothers, Ted T. Tarone and his wife Alice of West Palm Beach, FL and John V. Tarone and his wife Margaret of Drums; nieces, and nephews.
Josephine owned and operated Josephine's Beauty Shop on Altar Street in Hazleton for many years. She was a talented artist who enjoyed sketching and painting.
Born Sunday, December 21, 1930 in Hazleton, the daughter of the late James V. Tarone, Sr., and Beatrice (Sabia) Tarone, she was predeceased by; sister, Mrs. Gloria T. Kakalecik; brothers, James V., Jr., Mark A., and Louis A. Tarone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock A.M. on Tuesday November 15, 2016 from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania, Msgr. Bill Baker to officiate.
Friends may call in church on Tuesday November 15, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
