Joseph J. "Umpa" Stalosky, Jr., 70 years of age West Amidon Street, Summit Hill, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna L. (Klementovic) Stalosky; daughters, Mrs. Christine Sweeney of Nesquehoning, Mrs. Kelly Garvin wife of Brian of Reading, Mrs. Megan Stewart wife of Jason of Weatherly; his grandchildren whom he adored, Aadin, Lillee, and Olivia; father- in-law, Joseph Klementovic; brothers-in-law, Thomas J. Klementovic and his wife Tina, Joseph J. Klementovic and his wife Maria; niece, Laureen; nephews, Ian, and Jared; aunt, Sister Celinia.
A Summit Hill High School graduate class of 1962, Joe worked for the railroad for over thirty years, retiring from Norfolk Southern as an engineer.
He enjoyed collecting model trains, and was a member of the Summit Hill American Legion.
Born Wednesday, October 25, 1944 in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania. he was the son of the late, Joseph J., and Anna (Bogle) Stalowski.
Preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Genevieve Zimmerman, infant son, Joseph; mother-in-law, Edytha E. "Teddy" Klementovic.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 o'clock AM on Wednesday July 29, 2015 from the funeral home.
A Gathering of Friends shall take place on the morning of services July 29, 2015 from 9:30 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Grand Army Cemetery, Summit Hill, Pennsylvania.
