Mr. Joseph Prosymchak, age 80, of 63 Sunny Drive Mary D, Pa., died Monday, October 13, 2008, at his home. He was the husband of Eleanor (Hazer) Prosymchak and they were married for 59 years.
Born in Coaldale, PA he was the son of the late John & Ella (Brucinski) Prosymchak.
Mr. Prosymchak worked for the #9 Mines colliery and for the department of Enviromental Resource retiring in 1990.
He was a member the United States Airforce serving in WWII, a member of Holy Cross Church of New Philadelphia.
He attended P.S.U. where he earned a mining Certificate.
He is survived by his wife: Eleanor Prosymchak.
Daughter:Carol wife of Ron Hartung of New Ringgold, PA.
Brother: Nicholas Prosymchak of Florida.
Sisters: Helen McLaughlin of Lansford, PA.
Elizabeth Rokita of Nesquehoning, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Joseph Michael Prosymchak, brothers John and Nester and sisters Anna Polischek and Mary Sisko.
Calling Hours: 6-8PM Wednesday (10-15-2008) at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., and again on Thursday 8:30 - 9:15 am at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10am at Holy Cross Church, New Philadelphia with the Rev. Joseph Kweder officiating.
Interment: Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown with full military honors.
