Joseph Michael Porvaznik III, Staff Sgt. U.S.A.F., retired, 30 years of age of Lake Hauto Nesquehoning, died suddenly Saturday July 5, 2014 at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Gnaden Huetten Campus Lehighton Pennsylvania.
Born in Coaldale, son of Joseph M. Porvaznik II, and Kathy J. (Valentine) Porvaznik with whom he resided.
Joseph was a 2002 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, he served in the United States Air Force with distinction.
Joseph was a member of the Summit Hill American Legion, and Nesquehoning V.F.W.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by;
Sister, Candice Porvaznik of NH;
Brother, Michael J. Porvaznik of NC.;
Maternal grandparents, Dolores and Francis Vitek of Barnesville, Pa., and William Valentine of Tamaqua; aunts, Sister Susan Joseph Porvaznik, I.H.M. of Immaculata, Pa., Beth Valentine of Tuscarora, Pa., Sharyn Martin and her husband Joe of New Orleans La.; uncles, William Valentine of Tamaqua, Brian Valentine and his wife Lisa of Drums, Pa.; many cousins also survive Joseph.
A Public Calling will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 o’clock P.M. from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252
Private Military Honors will be conducted graveside at Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
