Mr. Joseph G. Papinchak, age 78, of Weatherly, Pa., died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Heritage Hills Nursing Home in , Weatherly.
A 1949 West Hazleton High School graduate, Joseph retired from Penn Dot as a Surveyor.
Born in June Dale, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Bodnar) Papinchak.
He is survived by his
One Sister,
Margaret Mirynowski wife of John of Union, N.J.;
One Brother,
Robert Papinchak and his wife Pat of Weatherly;
Nieces and nephews;
Preceded in death by his wife Betty May
(Horvath) Papinchak in December 23, 2008; brothers, Andrew, Steve, and John Papinchak.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa.,Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup., where the family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Thursday, December 31, 2009.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Loudes R.C.C. at 12:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2009, Rev. Floyd Caesar officiating.
Interment will be at St. Michaels Cemetery in Tresckow, Pa.
