Joseph J. Kamant

Joseph J. Kamant, 79 years of age, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 as a guest of Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr., Tamaqua. Born Thursday, January 11, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph Kamant and the late Isabelle (Adamitis) Kamant. He was the husband of the late Janet (Sherry) Kamant. Joseph, was also predeceased by; daughter, JoLynn Kamant; grandchildren, Jennilee Degiglio, Michael Oswald; brother, John (Jack) Kamant; sister, June Kamant. Surviving are daughters, Janelle Degiglio and her husband, Nicholas of Nesquehoning, Claudene Oswald and her husband, Michael of Andreas; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren Joseph retired from Ford Motor Company Metuchen, NJ after 36 years. Joseph was a long time member of the former SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and active member of the Holy Name Society. Private arrangements entrusted to the E.
