Joseph E. Gobrick, 97years of age of North Lehigh Gorge Drive Weatherly Pennsylvania died on Friday May 9, 2014 at Geisinger Wyoming Medical Center Wilkes-Barre.
Survived by his wife, Pearl (Rosetta) Gobrick; sons, Richard C. Gobrick and his wife Lynn of Bolivia, NC., Joseph M. Gobrick of Weatherly; grand daughter, Michelle, and great grandson, Hunter.
A Shenandoah High School graduate, Joseph served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a union carpenter, and member of St. Patrick's R.C.C. of White Haven. Joseph belonged to the Freeland American Legion Post 473, and the Freeland and White Haven V.F.W's.
Hard working, Joseph enjoyed a good sense of humor. Joseph and his wife Pearl were accomplished Latin, and Country dancers.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late, Joseph E. Gobrick, Sr., and Veronica (Pohutsky) Gobrick.
Preceded in death by a son, Robert Gobrick; brothers, Edward, and Henry Gobrick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10 o'clock A.M. from St. Patrick's R.C.C. 411 Allegheny Street White Haven, Pa. 18661, Rev. Michael Kloton to officiate. Military honors to be presented at the end of Mass.
