He was a self-employed builder.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S., Hometown.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, John enjoyed gardening.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late John Valentine and the late Anna (Moyer) Valentine.
He is survived by his

John T Valentine, II of Seoul, Korea; Kevin Valentine and his wife Jolyn of Tamaqua; and Robert Valentine of Marlin;

Robert Valentine and his wife Ellen of Bristol; Paul Valentine and his wife Starr of Tamaqua;
