Mr. John Sheldon, age 50, of Penn Drive, Tamaqua, Pa., died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa.
John was a 1977 graduate of Niskayuna High School, and earned an associates degree in Hotel Technology from Schenectady County Community College.
John had worked as a chef for Paradise Stream Resorts of Mt. Pocono, was employed by the Pocono Mountain School District and Pocono Farms Country Club in Mt. Pocono before last working as a groundsman for the Mahoning Valley Golf Club of Lehighton, Pa.
Born in Schenectady, NY., he was the son of Kenneth, Jr. and Joan (Coeyman) Sheldon.
He is survived by his
beloved sister,
Kimberly Gouger of Schenectady, N.Y.;
beloved brother,
K. Scott Sheldon III of Scottsdale, AZ;
beloved niece, Desiree Gouger;
beloved companion, Michele O'Connor with whom he resided.
