John P. "Jack" Quinn, Sr., beloved husband, father, brother, grandparent, 83 years of age of Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully while in the loving care of his family.
Born Sunday, February 5, 1939 in Mahanoy City, the son of the late Thomas, and Stella (Smerlick) Quinn. John was also predeceased by; grandson, Andrew Quinn; brother, Edward Quinn.
Surviving are; his wife of 64 years, Arlene F. (Ohl) Quinn; sons, John D. "Jack" Quinn, Jr. and his companion Christine Cole of Hazleton; Wilbur T. Quinn and his wife Becky of Mary-D; brothers, Thomas "Jerry" Quinn, Joseph Quinn and his wife Sarae, Francis Quinn and his wife Sandy; granddaughter, Amanda Mills and her husband Jonathan; great grandson, Rylie. Many nieces and nephews also survive John.
A member of St John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Jack was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Henry Baker Lodge. John retired form Stroh's Brewing Co. of Fogelsville. He was a avid fly fisherman, and devoted Notre Dame Football fanatic. John had been a volunteer fireman as a member of the American Hose Company. In retirement, Jack enjoyed walking the town and talking to firends and neighbors.

A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock A.M. on Wednesday June 8, 2022 from the funeral home. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
