John P Nakata, IV, loving husband, dedicated father, and devoted son, age 40, of Fawn Lane, Tamaqua, died Monday, July 8,2013, at Blue Mountain Health Systems in Lehighton.
Survived by his wife of 18 years, Sherry L. (Shema) Nakata.
He was a member of St Peter's Union Church of Mantzville.
John was a union insulator and owned his own landscaping business before taking ill.
He attended Northampton Area School District.
John was an accomplished airbrush painter and an avid snow boarder and golfer.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of John P. Nakata III and Dolores (Andreas) Nakata of Northampton.
He is also survived by his

Two Sisters,
Tammie Mae Evans of Allentown and Tina Marie Nakata of Scranton;
One Brother,
Craig W. Nakata of Pottsville;
Nieces, Nephews and a Great- Nephew;
Mother-in-law, Barbara Shema-Jabs and her husband Jim of Sheppton.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte. #309, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 6-8 PM and on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 10-11 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Pastor Cheryl Moore to officiate.
Interment at St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Mantzville.
