John Macort, Jr., age 70, of Coal Street, Middleport, died Saturday, August 23, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hopital Salisbury Twp..
John graduated from Springfield High School, and retired from Rotelle , Inc. as a Receiving Manager. He enjoyed camping at Rosemont.
Born in Flourtown, he was the son of the late John Macort, Sr. and the late Wilasetta (Souders) Macort.
Survived by his;
Two Sons,
Christopher J. Macort and his wife Lynne of Springtown, Pa.
James A. Macort and his wife Angela of Quakertown, Pa.;
Three grandchildren, Katelyn, Ryan, Cohen.
Preceded in death by his wife, Janice H. "Janet" (Mazeall) Macort, who died on October 11, 2004; brother, James Macort; sister, Barbara Montgomery.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Friday, August 30, 2013.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. at 10 o'clock AM Friday, August 30, 2013.
Interment will be at Whitemarsh Cemetery, Prospectville, Pa.
