John P. "Jack" Galvin, husband, father, pop-pop, 79 years of age, of Weatherly, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weatherly.
Survived by his devoted wife of fifty years, Jean E. (Dubetsky) Galvin; beloved daughter, Mrs. Kristen J. Caldwell and her husband Alan of Weatherly; sisters, Maureen Galvin of Flushing, NY and Mrs. Sheila Roark and her husband Gail of Euliss, TX; grand children; Rebecca, and Shaun.
A member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, Jack was a self-employed heavy equipment salesman.
Born Sunday, August 22, 1937 in Manhattan , New York, the son of the late Harry, and Mary (Corrigan) Galvin.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. located at 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
Friends shall be received in church from 10:00 A.M. until time of mass.
Private Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
