John P. Derzock, Jr.

Mr. John P. Derzock, Jr., beloved father, grand father, 89 years of age formerly of Tamaqua passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Sanatoga Center in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Widower of Ellamae (Davidson) Derzock, John is survived by; daughters, Donna L. Derzock and her companion Grace Spena of Bechtelsville, PA,, Barbara Borascius and her husband Al of Coopersburg, PA and Susan J. Hildebrand wife of Ralph M. of Mechanicsburg, PA; grand children, Kendra, Megan, Abigail, Garrick, and Spencer; great grand child Ella.
A graduate of the former Coaldale High School, John served honorably in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He retired from U.P.S., and was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua.
An avid outdoorsman, John enjoyed fishing, collecting antique cars, and was an amateur photographer.
Born Thursday, November 11, 1926 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late John Derzock, Sr., and Margaret (Babyak) Derzock. He was also predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Coxe, Mrs. Rose Ann Sicenavage, and Mrs. Veronica Longo; brothers, Stephen, and Edward Derzock.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock AM on Saturday September 3, 2016 from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Parish of St. John XXIII located at 301 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Parish of St. John XXIII, 301 Pine Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
Interment will be in SS. Cyril & Methodius R.C.C. Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania.
