John A. Cheesley, 82 years of age, of East Lizard Creek Road Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Pleasant Trees Nursing Home in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
Widower of Mary Ann (Erickson) Cheesley, he is survived by; sons, John Cheesley, Jr. of Rock Springs, WY and Joseph Cheesley of Germansville, PA.; sister, Mrs. Grace Wieting of Romford England; 2 grand children; 3 great grand children.
A self employed truck driver, John drove school bus after retiring. John served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Born Tuesday, October 3, 1933 in Dagenhan, England, United Kingdom. the son of the late Edgar C., and Florence M. (Bradley) Cheesley.
