John M. Agnello

June 15, 1930 — October 27, 2012

John M. Agnello, 82 years of age, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, died Sat. October 27, 2012 at the Veteran Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bridget C. (Natale) of North Lee Court Hazleton.

Born in New York, NY., he was the son of the late Joseph, and Rosalia (Benigno) Agnello

Catholic by faith, John was a graduate of Franklin K. Lane High School, and he served in the United States Army. He retired from Simplex Plumbing Supply of East New York.

Survived by his daughter, Cathy (Agnello) wife of Anthony Maiello of Weatherly;

John had many nieces, and nephews, including Carmine, Michael, Joseph, Maria, and Roseanna whom he treated like his own children.

He is also survived by a brother, Louis Agnello of New York;

Four grandchildren, Isabella, Gianna, Anthony, and Malayna;

Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Rose Marie Dipalo, Mrs. Jean Cairo, Mrs. Mary Perico, Miss Anna Agnello; brothers, Carmine, Michael, and Joseph "Chubby" Agnello.

Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street Weatherly, Pa. 18255, Philip J. Jeffries F.D. is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Services with Military Honors, will be held, Sunday November 4, 2012 at 3 o’clock P.M. from the funeral home.

Friends shall be received from 1P.M. until time of services at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home.

Private interment, St. Joseph’s R.C.C. Cemetery of Hazleton, Pa.

Contributions may be made in care of his family to Bridget Agnello, 836 North Lee Court, Hazleton, Pa. 18201.
