Johanna "Jean" (Krell) Younker, age 86, of The Rocks, Weatherly, died Sunday, June 7, 2015, at her home.
She was the widow of Howard J. Younker who passed away July 2001.
Jean was a homemaker and she was affiliated with Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly.
She was a Weatherly High School graduate, a member of the Weatherly Flower Club, Town Events Committee, Weatherly and Beaver Meadows Senior Citizens', a Weatherly Library volunteer and she enjoyed making Pysanky eggs and flowers.
Born in Hazleton on July 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ignatz Krell and the late Mary (Postupack) Krell.
She is survived by her
Two Daughters,
Lori G. Younker of York;
Patricia J Scharding of Lansford;
Two Sons,
Howard W Younker of Sugar Notch;
Richard P Younker and his wife Florence of Lindenhurst, NY;
Six Grandchildren
Six Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Lona D. Younker; son, Robin Younker; sisters, Mrs Anna Kurtz, Catharine Wandishin, Julia Yurkanin, Helen Wilcrout and Margaret Krell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2015.
Funeral service will be at Philip J Jeffries Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2015.
Interment will be at Postupacks Family Cemetery, Weatherly.
