Joan O Zaprazny

Joan O (Berger) Zaprazny, age 83, of McCorkle Rd, Hershey passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.She was the wife of John R. Zaprazny who died July 2, 2007. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage.Joan was a 1952 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. Joan took great pride in her family and loved her cats. Joan loved crafts, gardening, music, reading, and sewing. Joan was active in her church throughout her life and was most recently a member of New Life Church of Hershey, Pa who welcomed her in 2016.She was a pianist and she taught Sunday school for 40 years. She was a former member of the Golden Girls Singing Group, Local Senior Citizen group, the Penn State Senior Exercise Program and her church choir. Born in Port Carbon on August 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. And Ruth O (Warner) Berger. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Parker wife of Jeffrey Parker, Lake Wynonah, PASons,David J Zaprazny and his wife Pam of Mountain Top, Pa;Donald P.
