Joan R Burrell, age 78, of Weatherly, a long time resident of the Back Mtn., Luzerne County, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Weatherwood Nursing Home, Weatherly.
She had worked as a seamstress and as a domestic.
Joan was Catholic by faith.
Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Horace W. Burrell, Sr. and Margaret (Peopperling) Burrell of Dallas, Pa.
She is also survived by her
One Sister:
Carol Lesho of Luzerne.
Preceded in death by her brother, Horace W. Burrell, Jr. and sister, Jean Burrell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 o'clock AM at Our Lady of Victory Church 16 2nd Street, Harvey's Lake, Pa 18618. Call 10-11AM at the church.
Private Interment.
