Jennie Montz

Jennie Montz, age 93, of Lauderburn Ave., Weatherly, died Friday, February 7, 2014, peacefully at home.

Widow of Calvin C. Montz, Sr., who died on Dec. 18, 2008.

A member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly, Jennie was a homemaker, who loved to bake, crochet, and do puzzles. Jennie, loved children, she would often babysit for local families. Everyone referred to her as "Nana".

Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Chippi) Stritz.

Survived by her;

Johanna (Montz) O'Donnell wife of Terrance of Weatherly;

Son,
Calvin C Montz, Jr. of Baltimore, MD.;

Sisters,
Mrs. Mary Mente of Bridgewater, NJ.,
Mrs. Helen O'Donnell of Weatherly;

Brother,
George Stritz and his wife Evelyn of Weatherly;

Six grandchildren, Bryan Montz, Eric Montz, Sarah Argumedo. Stacey Pleban, Shannon O'Donnell, and Shawn O'Donnell;

Twelve great-grandchildren;

Many nieces, and nephews also survive her.

Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Anna Mulligan, Mrs. Dorothy Gutosky, and Mrs. Elizabeth Bachart-Tee, brother, Andrew Stritz.
