Jeanne Carolyn Johnson, age 85, of East Broad Street Tamaqua, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Widow of Norman J. Johnson, who died on January 14, 2008.
A 1945 Tamaqua High School graduate, Jean was a member of Bethany E.C.C. of Tamaqua, and had been Dr. James Moyer's office nurse for over 30 years. Upon retiring Jean worked as a cashier at Fegley Mini-Mart of Tamaqua.
She was the daughter of the late John J. and Katherine (Koch) Evans.
He is survived by her

Mary Jane Siekert wife of Robert of Rochester Minnesota,
Sandra P. Evans of Tamaqua;
One Brother,
Robert J. Johnson of Tamaqua;
Preceded in death by her sisters Mrs. Nancy Fisher, Mrs. Patricia Ann Evans
