Jean D. Weston 74 years of age of Second Street, Weatherly, went home to be with the Lord on Monday December 19, 2016, passing away at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton Campus.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Jean was Lutheran by faith. She had worked as a secretary for the Weatherly School District for many years.
A devoted Christian, Jean entertained a weekly Bible Study and Prayer group at her home for many years. An avid reader, Jean spent many happy hours playing cards with her family whom she adored.
Born in Weatherly, Saturday August 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Leonard Weston, and Ruth (Nothstein) Weston – Seibel. She was also predeceased by; step-father, William Seibel; sister, Lenore Doney; nephew, Scott Weston.
Survived by her sister, Mrs. Carol Helker wife of William of Plymouth, Minnesota; brother, Leonard K. Weston and his wife Rosemary of Weatherly; niece, Roshelle (Weston) Coll who resided with Jean; cousin, Phyllis Piacine of Hamburg. Many other nieces and nephews also survive Jean.
