Jean M. Porter-Englehart

Jean M. (Hoffman) Porter-Englehart , 82 years of age of Indian Run Road Weatherly, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weatherly.

Widow of William Porter who died on June 12, 1971, and Henry A. Englehart, who died on April 3, 2006.

A Weatherly High School graduate, Jean had worked as a Spot Welder for Dolinsky's Tree Farms for many years. A member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly, Jean was an accomplished baker making a scrumptious Apple Crum pie. Jean also enjoyed reading.

Born Tuesday, October 25, 1932 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Martha (Zeller) Hoffman.

Sister,
Mrs. Shirley Neidlinger of Weatherly;

Brothers,
Carl Hoffman,
Norman Hoffman and his wife Judy both of Weatherly;

Step daughter,
Judy Desrosiers and her husband Ray of Weatherly;

Step son,
Todd Englehart and his wife Jeanne of Weatherly;

Three step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive Jean.

Preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Lawrence Hoffman.

A Gathering of Friends will take place from 9:30 AM until 11:00 A.M. on Friday December 12, 2014 at the Philip J Jeffries Funeral Home located at 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.

Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home at 11 o'clock A.M. on Friday December 12, 2014, Rev. Donald Stump to officiate.

A Gathering of Friends will take place at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services on Friday December 12, 2014.

Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
