Jason R. Blihar, 40 years of age of West Rowe Street Tamaqua, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at his parents home after a long illness.
Born in Coaldale on October 21, 1976, the son of Robert W. Blihar and Cindy (Smith) Blihar, he is also survived by his brother, Timothy A. Blihar and his fiancée, Penny of Scranton; maternal grandmother, Hazel Smith of Pond Hill; as well as many friends.
A 1995 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Jason was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua. He had worked as a sales person for Ritz Camera as he fostered his passion for photography. Jason enjoyed cooking and helping friends edit photos.
A member of Father Henry Baker Knights of Columbus Lodge #2711 of Tamaqua, Jason was a Third Degree Knight.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock A.M., on Friday February 24, 2017 from St. John XXII R.C.C. 266 West Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
