Janet Leibensperger, 72 years of age of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, March 8, 1943 in Hazleton, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Reed) Leibensperger.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Janet had worked at Bobali Bakery in Humbolt. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Weatherly, and was active in the Weatherly Senior Citizens Friendship Club.
Surviving are sons,
Scott Kunkel and his wife Donna,
Robert Kunkel both of Morrisville, Pennsylvania;
Brother,
Donald Leibensperger of East Stroudsburg ;
Grandchildren, Scott & Taylor Kunkel;
Preceded in death by sisters Joann Leibensperger her twin, and Mrs. Marion Pluta; brothers, Willard, and Walter Leibensperger.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock A.M. on Saturday August 1, 2015 from the funeral home.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services on Saturday morning August 1, 2015.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
