Jan Joseph Perla

Jan Joseph Perla, 58 years of age, of Lake Hauto, Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania formerly of Tamaqua passed away from courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 18, 2020, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Born Wednesday, May 16, 1962 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania son of the late John Joseph, and Jeanne A. (Moser) Perla. He was also predeceased by; sisters, Sandra Perla, Candice Perla, Martha Koch, Mary Ann (Perla) Mangone; brothers, John, and Kevin Perla.
Surviving are; his daughter whom he adored, Jannelle Perla of Tamaqua; brothers, Gerald Perla of Tamaqua, Eugene Perla and his wife Margaret of Tamaqua, Walter Perla of Tamaqua, Todd Perla of Tamaqua; sisters, Lori Miller and her husband Craig of Barnesville, Sheila Davison-Bray and her husband Jack of Nesquehoning, with whom he resided. Many nieces and nephews also survive Jan.
Jan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing; however, his greatest talent was his green thumb. Jan loved spending time with family and friends. He will greatly missed by all.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at noon from Sky View Memorial Park Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
Due to current covid restrictions the family regrets not being able to hold a service or meal honoring Jan; however, they would like all to know that on Jan's birthday May 16, there will be a celebration of his life.
