James J. Walters, 76 years of age, of Packer Township, Weatherly, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014, at home in the care of his family.
Survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Theresa (Robel) Walters .

Michele A. Mumie wife of Kevin,
Sandra Marie Walters both of Weatherly;
Brother:
John Walters, Jr. and his wife Eleanor of Weatherly;
One Granddaughter, Taylor Troyanoski.
A West Hazleton High School graduate, James retired from the Pa. Dept. of Transportaion. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, James was a life member of the N.R.A., and the Caron County Republican Committee.
Born in Hazleton, the son of the late John and Maureen (Panzarella) Walters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. at 11 o'clock A.M, Thursday, October 9, 2014, Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.
Friends will be received in church from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Weatherly.
