Mr. James W. Turner, Jr. age 79, of West Ridge Street Lansford, formerly of Evergreen Apt.'s Weatherly, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at home.
A graduate of Sussex High School in Sussex, NJ, James had worked as an Auto Mechanic.
He served in the Franklin, NJ Army National Guard for 16 years as a motor mechanic, was a Coast Guard inspector, a hazardous material handler for L.& L. Fire Co. of Weatherly,and was a member of the Cresco, Pa. Masonic Lodge. James was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly.
Born in Wantage, NJ., he was the son of the late James W. and Helen (Kimble) Turner, Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Hilma E. (McKechnie) Turner;
Three Daughters,
Sharon E. Towsend and her husband Charles of Hacketstown, N.J.,
Elizabeth Jean Bulmer and her husband Gary of Lansford, and
Hilma "Angel" M. Grant and her husband Fred of Weatherly;
Two Sons,
James W. Turner, III, and his wife Jennifer of Moravia, N.Y.
Robert P. Dusseault II and his wife Dina of Bartonsville, Pa.;
Twelve grandchildren

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries Sup./ F.D., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2009.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2009, Rev. Walter Breiner officiating.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Weatherly
