James C. Oldt 81 years of age of Mill Road Lehighton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 18, 2022 at home.
Born on February 13, 1941 in Muskegon Michigan the son of the late Charles, and Shirley (Parmeter ) Oldt.
Surviving are; his beloved wife of 58 years, Sarah J. Frey; daughters, Lisa S. Allesch wife of Frank, April M. Danner wife of the late Samuel Danner; son, James C. Oldt Jr. and his wife Cammie; sisters, Julie Minzey, Helen Twinning; brother, Robert Oldt and wife Gaetane; six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
A graduate of Muskegon High School, James served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army for 22 years, having been deployed for 3 tours of duty during the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Military, James worked as a pressman for the Times News for 16 years. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Mahoning Valley, James was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
