Jacob T. "Jakey" Troxell, age 15, of Winter Mountain Road, Andreas, died Thursday, August 23, 2013, in Albany Twp from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Jakey, homeschooled and was a sophmore. He had finished cirriculum in Sheep Mgt., Pasture Mgt., and assisted his sister in her photography business while attending to his studies.
Jake helped his dad on the farm and in their automotive repair business.
Jake and his sister Sam owned JNS Sheep Sheering. He enjoyed raising his beef cattle, and sheep. Jake competed in 4-H events at the Schuylkill County Fair, and Harrisburg Farm Show where he had won Master Showman.
Being one of eight children, he found his niche by having a quick witt, and was always willing to help his parents and siblings.
Jake enjoyed four wheeling, line dancing, and facebook. He aspired to attend college, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design.
His companion was often his dog Abby.
He was an active member of Salem Evangelical Congregational Church, Lenhartsville.
Born in Lehighton, he was the son of Leon and Sandra (Miller) Troxell.

Paternal grandfather, Calvin J. Troxell of Andreas;
Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Rte. #309, 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, August 31, 2013.
A Memorial Service will be at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 31, 2013, Rev. Dave Long to officiate.
