Irene (Drauschak) Maury, age 80, of Louise Street Weatherly, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton.
Widow of Albert V. Maury, who died on February 28, 1999.
Catholic by faith, Irene was a Freeland High School graduate.
She enjoyed watching tennis on television and doing puzzles.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Evanko) Drauschak.
Survived by her;
Daughter,
Mary Ann (Maury) Garber wife of Richard of Toano, Va.;
Son,
Albert J. Maury and his wife Carolyn of Weatherly;
Brother,
John Drauschak and his wife Patricia of Freeland;
Three grandchildren,
Sarah Salko, Erika Maury, and Alex Maury
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street Weatherly, Weatherly, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Loudes R.C.C. at 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2013, Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.
Interment will be at St. John Nepomucene R.C.C. Cemetery in Freeland.
