Irene K. (Comisac) Davis, 65 of Bluffton, SC, wife of Larry A. Davis, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Coaldale, PA on February 24, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Eulah Queen Comisac.
She was an Assembler for I.C.I. America’s Inc.
She was a member of the Russian Orthodox Church.
She is survived by her husband, Larry A. Davis of Bluffton;
one son, Brian Ketchledge and his wife Catherine of Hilton Head Island, SC;
one step-daughter, Christina
Bentley and her husband James of Quakertown, PA;
two step-sons, Larry Davis of Pennsburg, PA and Craig Davis of Annapolis, MD;
two brothers, Michael S. Comisac, Sr. of New Ringgold and Larry Comisac of Schuylkill Haven;
three sisters, Mary Ann Kupetz of Tamaqua,Dorothy Kupetz of Mary-D and Deborah Ehret and her husband Robert of New Ringgold;
grandchildren, Hannah Marie Ketchledge and Jade Bentley.
Preceded in death brothers, Daniel, and Joseph
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa. where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 6-8 PM.
Parastas Services will be held at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at E. Franklin Griffiths F.H., Reverend David Matthewson to celebrate.
The family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society Tamaqua-Carbon Unit 33 W. Ridge St., Lansford, Pa 18232.
