Howard Leroy Brown, Jr., 69 years of age of Third Street Weatherly, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton Campus.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Howard honorably served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Returning home he worked as a plumber and electrician.
An ardent Willie Nelson fan, and member of the Willie Nelson Fan Club, many people often would mistake Howard for Willie. He was an outdoorsman who liked to fish and hunt, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
Born Saturday, August 25, 1945 in Hazleton, son of the late Howard Leroy Brown, Sr., and his wife Ruth (Harris) Brown.

Brooke Brown and her companion David Skuntz of Hazleton,
Jennifer M. Filbert and her fiance Kenneth Owens of Mountain Top,
Nicole L. Kopczynskie wife of Richard of McAdoo;
Brother,
Charlie Brown of Sybertsville;
Sister,
Carol (Brown) Desrosiers wife of Raymond, Sr. of Weatherly;
Grandchildren, Christa, Shelby, and Kenny;
Many nieces, and nephews also survive Howard.

A Memorial Service will be at 8 o'clock PM on Friday at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Private interment at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania.
