Homer K. Lechleitner, age 85, of Archery Club Road New Ringgold, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
Widower of Doris M. (Reed) Lechleitner, who died on May 27, 2007.
A member of St. John U.C.C. of Tamaqua, Homer served in the United States Army during WWII.
Homer, retired in 1989 from the Bethlehem Mines having worked as a truck driver.
Born in New Ringgold, he was the son of the late Albert and Stella (Gerber) Lechleitner.
He is survived by his
One Daughter,
Darlene A. (Lechleitner) Snyder wife of Edwin of New Ringgold;
One Son,
Kenneth H. Lechleitner and his companion Linda Noah of New Ringgold;
Four grandchildren, Pam and her husband Kenneth, Kim, Brian, and Stanley;
Two great-grandchildren, Kenneth Jr., and April;
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Velma Stevens, and Mrs. Miriam Eichert; brother, Marvin Lechleitner.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte. #309,New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2012.
Funeral service will be at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 201, Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy to officiate.
Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park in Schuylkill Haven.
