Geneva Hoffman Funk passed from this earth into God's kingdom on July 16, 2013 at the age of 101 at Crestview Rehabilitation Center in Langhorne. She was formerly from Weatherly, Pa.
She was the widow of Russell Funk who passed away in 1968.
Geneva was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Weatherly, Pa.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed collecting arrow heads.
Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel May (Benjamin) Hoffman.
She is survived by her
One Daughter,
Harriet J Tyrrell wife of Melvin of Morrisville, Pa.;
Two Granddaughters,
Ramona Maziarz wife of Howard and their two sons, Dillon and Shane and Harriett Guze wife of Brian and their two sons, Victor and Brian;
Grandson,
Timothy and his wife Kathy; as well as Terence Younker, whom she raised, his wife Nancy and children, Alison and Richard.
Preceded in death by her son, Russell; daughter, Ethel; brothers, Earl, Allen, Harold, Milton, Wilfred, William, Roland, Russell and Willard; sisters, Noreen, Leona, and Virginia.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First St., Weatherly, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Reverend Charles Englehart to officiate.
She will be laid to rest with her husband and son at the Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Caring Hospice Services 400 Commerce Dr., Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
