Mrs. Hilma E (McKechnie) Turner, age 82, of Weatherly, Pa., having resided recently in Lansford, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at St Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa.
She was a homemaker, a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly and a former Eastern Star.
Hilma was a 1945 graduate of Clifford J. Scott High School of E. Orange, NJ and she attended Rutgers for 2 years studying Accounting.
Born in Sugar Notch, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John McKechnie and the late Elizabeth (Finley) McKechnie.
She is survived by her

Elizabeth Jean Bulmer and her husband Gary of Lansford
Angel Kuchar-Grant and her husband Fred of Weatherly

Robert P. Dusseault, II and his wife Dina of Bartonsville, Pa.
James W. Turner III and his wife Jennifer of Moravia, NY
Twelve grandchildren
Seven great-grandchildren
Preceded in death by her husband on 11/5/2009, J. Willard Turner, Jr.; brother, John G. McKechnie.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Sunday January 24, 2010 at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D./Supervisor.
Rev. Dawn Richie will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday,January 24, 2010 from 1-2 P.M.
Interment at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
