Mr. Herman T. Reimold, Jr., age 76, of Hudsondale Street Weatherly, Pa., died Saturday, October 3, 2009, at St. Lukes Pavillon in Hazleton, Pa.
Herman, was a Korean War Veteran, and former Commander of the Weatherly American Legion.
A retired Chief of Police for the Weatherly Borough, and two term councilman, he also served as a Past President of Citizens Fire Co #1, and served as Assistant Fire Chief.
A memebr of Hazle Azalea Fellowship Lodge #327 F&A.M. Hazleton, he was a former member of the Caldwell Consistory in Bloomsburg, and Irem Temple Shriners.
Herman, retired from the Weatherly Casting Company after 45 years.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Herman and Hazel (Clewell) Reimold, Sr..
He is survived by his

Cindy (Reimold) O'Gorman wife of Dave of Weatherly, Pa.;
One Son,
Thomas H. Reimold and his wife Maureen of Hazle Twp.;
One Sister,
Betty (Reimold) Lehr of Weatherly, Pa.;
Three grandchildren,Zachary Zschunke, Adrienne, and Angelica Reimold;
Two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Hunter;
Preceded in death, on September 13, 2009 by his wife of 56 years, Alverna J. Romig Reimold; sister, Miriam (Reimold) Stelma.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D. / Supervisor, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2009, Rev. Wayne T. Luphole officiaitng.
Interment with Military Honors, will be at Union Cemetery, Saturday October 10, 2009 at 10 o'clock AM.
