Herman P. "George" Hill, 84 of Tuscarora, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenburg Campus Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Widower of Galdys "Dolly" (Remaly) Hill, Herman is survived by sons, Ronald Meckes and his wife Irene of Kempton, and Larry Meckes and his wife Linda of New Ringgold; sister, Terry Williams of Pottsville; 7 grand children; 18 great grand children.
Herman had worked in the construction field, and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
Born Tuesday, November 10, 1931 the son of the late Preston, and Arlene (Long) Hill. Herman was predeceased by sons, Darryl and Keith Meckes; sisters, Mrs. Helen Caster, and Mrs. Marion Cromyak; brother, Howard Hill; grandson, Matthew Meckes.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. (570) 386-5884.
A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock AM on Friday July 8, 2016 from the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home on the morning of from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery Allentown, Pennsylvania.
