Born Friday, June 3, 1960 in New York, New York, he is the son of Victor M. Hernandez, and Ana Melitina (Ortiz) Hernandez. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Laura (Lopez) Hernandez; children, Jazmin, Tiana Suzanne, and Armand Joshua Hernandez.
Surviving family members are his daughter, America Borda of Tamaqua; brothers, Victor M. Hernandez of New York, NY, Damaso M. Hernandez and his wife Ronke of New York, NY; sisters, Melitina Hernandez wife of Sammy Paduani of New York, NY and Vivian Hernandez Ortiz of New York, NY. His niece Samantha, nephew Celestino, uncle, aunt, and many first & second cousins also survive him.
Herbert was father, son, brother, an independent truck driver, a computer Tech, a sharp dresser, and a great cook.
