Henry J. Eroh, age 82, of Maple Street Weatherly, died Monday, February 13, 2012, at Heritage Hills in Weatherly.
Preceded in death by his wife Aretta M. (Strohl) Eroh in 2008.
Henry worked as a Painter with his brother, for Fairless Steel for 15 years and retired from Weatherwood Carbon County Home.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Hazleton.
An animal lover, he enjoyed fishing.
Born in Weatherly, he was the son of the late Henry and Sarah (Hinkle) Eroh.
He is survived by his
Two Daughters,
Alice (Eroh) Gudanowski wife of Bruce of Mountain Top,
-Sharon (Eroh) Adrian wife of joe of Reno, Nev.;
Two Sons,
Philip H. Eroh and his wife Catherine of Weatherly,
Ronald Eroh and his wife Amy of Weatherly;
One Sister,
Mrs. Betty (Eroh) Swartley of Haddonfield, N.J;
One Brother,
Rev., David Eroh and his wife Carol of Weatherly, Pa.
Thirteen grandchildren
Nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by sisters, Gertrude Kauffman and Jane Wagner; brothers, Eugene F., Willard, Philip, Charles, Allan and Gerald Eroh.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street Weatherly Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 16, 2012 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2012.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 11 o'clock AM Friday, February 17, 2012, Pastor Ryan Day officiating.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
