Helga Weintraub

Helga Weintraub, 88, formerly of Wheatley Heights, New York, passed away March 2, 2025 in St. Luke's Miners Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Coaldale, PA. She was the wife of the late Harry R. Weintraub, Jr., who passed away in 2023. 

Born September 29, 1936 in Feudenheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Paula (Biedermann) Hoffmann. 

Helga was a homemaker, where she enjoyed babysitting the neighborhood children and her grandchildren. 

She also enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and knitting but most of all she loved caring for her family. 

Surviving are her children: Mary, wife of Chris Lauterbach of Wantagh, NY; Diane, wife of Kevin Holik of Weatherly, PA and Michael, husband of Liliah Weintraub of Hurleyville NY. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Crystal, Nicole, Kevin, Ashley and Justin.
