Helen Brown, 96 years of age, formerly of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Corrigan House in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
Widow of Harry H. Brown.
A Nesquehoning High School graduate, Helen served as a nurse in the Army and Navy. Her life long endeavor was attending to her beloved son, Barton B. Brown of Hazleton.
Born Saturday, June 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Wasch, and Mary (Smerokanech) Polohovich.
Helen is also survived by her caregiver, Marjorie Winters of Zion Grove, Pennsylvania.
She was the last surviving sibling of a large family.
Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
Interment Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania
