Helen Harahush Bogosh

Helen H. Bogosh, 82 years of age of Atlas Road West Penn Township, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 21, 2016, at home while in the care of her daughter Terri.
Widow of Michael F. Bogosh who passed away in 2003, she is survived by her daughter, Terri Bogosh with whom she resided; son, David Bogosh and his wife Aling; grandchildren, Clark and Chloe whom she adored and loved to watch, of Irvine CA.; and many nieces, and nephews also survive Helen.
Helen had worked as a seamstress for various textile factories in the area. She was a devout member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church of Coaldale. Helen enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading her prayer book faithfully.
Born Tuesday, June 6, 1933 in New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Wash, and Anna (Yuhas) Harahush. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Mary Dolan-Tighe, and Mrs. Anna Bogosh; brothers, John, Steven, Harry, Michael, and Peter to whom she was a dedicated caregiver due to Peter's injuries from shrapnel to the brain which left him paralyzed in 1944 during WWII.

Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 o'clock A.M. on Saturday March 26, 2016 from St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church located at 217 First Street Coaldale, Pennsylvania 18218, Rev. Ignatius Gauvain to officiate.
Friends may call Saturday morning March 26, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Cemetery Summit Hill, Pennsylvania.
