Helen F. Aldrich

Mrs. Helen F. (Sherwood) Aldrich, age 82, of Pitt Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at St. Luke VNAEP Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pa.

Helen was protestant by faith, and ran cleaning business in Montrose, Pa.

Born in Great Bend, Pa., Susquehanna County, she was the daughter of the late Louis Beatrice (Robinson) Sherwood-Shay.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters,
Mrs. Geneva K. (Aldrich) Wickizer wife of John of Tamaqua, Pa.
Mrs. Brenda S. (Aldrich) Gulick wife of David of Tamaqua, Pa.

Two Sons,
Mr. Kenneth Aldrich and his wife Johanna of Elsmere, Ky.
Mr. Marvin Aldrich and his wife Sally of Goodspring, Tenn.

Two Sisters,
Mrs. Louise (Sherwood) Williams of New Milford, Pa.
Mrs. Mildred (Sherwood) Page of Ferndale, Wash.

Eleven grandchildren
Twenty One great-grandchildren

Sister-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Long of Roseville, Ca., wife of her late brother Louis Sherwood.

Preceded in death by brother, Louis Sherwood; sister Doris Mead; grandsons Eric Gulick, and Sean Aldrich.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2008.

Evening Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 7:30 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2008 , Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy officiating.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, Pa.
